EUGENE, Ore. – The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League is credited with making history, and one of the player’s, Lois Youngen, lives right here in Eugene and has had a big impact on the University of Oregon’s recreational sports. Youngen is being honored Friday night at the Eugene Emerald’s game at PK Park. Lois Youngen is now a bobble head that’s being handed out at Friday’s game. We spoke with Youngen about her career as a baseball player.
