Pawtucket’s Carino bound for Girls Baseball Breakthrough Series camp

Giulia Carino, 15, of Pawtucket, is among 65 high schoolers taking part in the inaugural Girls Baseball Breakthrough Series camp in Vero Beach, Fla., this week.   Designed specifically for girls, the amateur development camp opened Thursday and will run through Sunday. It features elite instruction, insight and exhibition games. Some of the nation’s top female baseball coaches and players — including current and former members of the U.S. Women’s National Baseball Team
